Wicked!

One of my best friends, Brittany, is moving away to Oklahoma very soon and as a last "hurrah" we decided to all go see Wicked together one last time before she moves. I sure love these ladies so much and I love being with them! I am so grateful for good friendships and I cherish the ones I have with them so much! 

We went to Cheesecake Factory for dinner before the show. The show was so good, as always! I think this is my favorite play ever! It was a perfect night!

Kelly Clarkson

About 6 weeks ago, I got tickets, with my sister, Julie and Ceder, to go see Kelly Clarkson!! It was such a fun girls night and we had a great time together! I love being with my sister, and it was fun to have Julie and Ceder there too. Kelly is such a fun entertainer and I love watching her. This concert wasn't my favorite of hers, she sang a lot of slow songs, but it was still fun and she has such an amazing voice!

Hallie-o

Hallie is such a sweetheart and is growing up so fast! I am obsessed with her and love her so much!

 I went into check on her during her nap and found her like this. She had all of her covers over her head. Needless to say, when she woke up she was completely drenched in sweat. Ha!

 Hallie got pretty sick this month, unfortunately. She had a pretty nasty cough and a fever. She felt and looked miserable. I actually took her to the doctor because I was wondering if she had influenza. She didn't, and didn't have strep either. She eventually got better and then Brooksie got sick :(

 Another time I found her sleeping all the way inside her sleeping bag. Silly girl!

 One week, at preschool, Hallie learned about "community helpers." They learned a little bit about the mail system and then drew a little picture and mailed it to themselves. Hallie was so excited when it came in the mail!

Joe and Becky gave him a firetruck as well (what are the chances?) and clothes!

 Gygi gave him some clothes and this dancing robot! It was his favorite gift of the night!

After presents, we sang Happy Birthday and had cake and ice cream! Brooks was at first a little timid and wasn't sure what to do with the cake in front of him. But it didn't take long for him to take a bite and then he went to town! He was in heaven! He LOVED his cake!!!

Happy, happy birthday sweet Brooksie! I absolutely loved celebrating YOU today!! You are the sweetest little baby. My love for you is hard to describe because it is so great. There is nothing in this world that I wouldn't do for you. You have me wrapped around your finger and you are wrapped around my full of love for you heart! I love you bubba. Happy Birthday!

Birthday Celebration!

We celebrated Brooks' bday on his actual birthday by having a party with grandparents. Brooks was unfortunately sick today and wasn't feeling his best for his party. Poor guy. He was either crying or whining the entire time until he ate his cake. Ha! I decided to do a construction themed birthday party for him and I think it turned out cute!
