Surprisingly only 1 photo of "the kids" this month. I caught Hallie and Taco being cute downstairs playing the Switch.

Hallie
Hallie has had a great month! She is liking school and her teachers aren't as bad as she thought they would be. Haha! She is doing orchestra for the first time. We almost didn't sign her up because she has never once mentioned she has wanted to. And then out of the blew she started begging to do it. I figured she just had some friends in there that she wanted to hang out with and didn't really care to learn the violin. But, after much convincing, we signed her up and she actually really likes it. Luckily, she doesn't practice all that much at home because the sounds she makes coming from the violin make my arm hairs curl. But, she loves going to practice before school twice a week.

Brooks
Cute Brooks has been loving his basketball team and loving his friends at school. We got a sweet message from his school teachers stating how great he has been. He went to the Utah football game with Russ and bragged to Hallie that Dad took him before he took Hallie. Haha. Siblings.

Date Night
We celebrated Brielle's birthday, on her birthday, by going to Takashi and mini golf. We always have a great time with the SNaylors!

Color Run
Russ braved the color run with the 3 kids tonight while I was at work. They got absolutely covered in powdered chalk and had pink hair for days, even after several washes.

Girls Night
As a late birthday present (and because they book out SO far in advance), Brielle took me to get a scalp massage at FIKA. Oh. my. goodness. It was incredible! Seriously amazing. We did a 90 minute massage. They actually massage almost your entire body, not just your scalp. The chairs were so comfy and I actually fell asleep during it. It was so relaxing. After the massage, we went to dinner at some Italian restaurant.
In fact, I loved it so much that a month later I took my sister for a scalp massage for her birthday. It is pricey but I may have to do this a few times a year for sure.

Stockton
September photo download of Taco. He is a cute boy but man he is spicy at times. He falls asleep almost always when Russ is working in the basement (while I am at work). He is getting better at knowing what letters are in his name. It get that it is confusing that his real name is Stockton but 95% of the time we call him Taco, and there is definitely not an A in Stockton. Haha! He is obsessed with Russ and he loves Rosie. He wears shorts and a t-shirt no matter if it is freezing outside. He loves riding his bike in circles on our basketball court. I was cleaning up toys and just so happened to look up and noticed stickers all over the bottom of our mantel. I wonder how long those have been there. Haha! Damage to Taco's door because he just chucks things at it when he is in timeout. I sure love our little dimple boy!
McDonalds w Grandma and Grandpa Ahlberg
While Russ was in Logan taking Hallie to a soccer game and I was at work, we asked Joe and Becky to watch the boys for a bit until I got home. They picked Brooks up from school and took them to McDonalds. The boys loved it! Golly these boys of mine are cute!!

Happy Birthday Hallie!
Happy birthday Hallie!! I can't believe she is 11!! She is such a good girl. She gets along with basically everyone and has so many friends at school. Her favorite friends are all the boys at school because she likes to do everything they do at recess. She is certainly a "tom boy" and only wears sweatshirts and sweatpants to school. I can't her to wear anything else. She continues to be the smartest in her classes. Her Spanish is amazing (from what her teachers tell me. She rarely speaks Spanish at home). She loves soccer and has improved so much in that sport. She is incredibly responsible and I can trust her. She loves to tell me she loves me and loves to give me hugs. And I LOVE that! She sleeps in our room every night. She has convinced herself that she can't sleep in her room. She wants to switch rooms with Taco, to be closer to us and not be by such a big window, but I'm not convinced that will actually change anything. She says she doesn't like cheese and will only eat a grilled cheese or pizza if it is cold. Yet she will eat nachos. Who knows. Costa Vida is her favorite food. And she will inhale a pork burrito! I'm so proud of the girl she is and so happy that she is mine and that I get a front row seat to her life and what she does in it. I love you more than anything, Hal!
On her birthday she woke up to her door decorated with streamers. Although she was in our room all night so I'm not sure how surprised she was to see it. She got some of her favorite snacks (plain lay's chips, muddy buddy's, hershey's chocolate, kinder joy and bubblegum. She got some coloring things and her big surprise was tickets to ANDY GRAMMER in St. George!! She loves Andy Grammer and so do I. In fact, we are going with her best cousin, Pratt and my sister in November. This will be her first concert and our first girls weekend together. I'm just as excited as she is!
I took the day off of work and after school we went to Los Cucos Mexican Cafe for dinner. She does enjoy tacos. We lucked out that it was Mariachi night and we enjoyed a personal "happy birthday" song by their band. After dinner, we went to Pink Sweets for dessert! It was yummy!
Instead of a birthday party, she opted to take a friend to Lagoon. She has never been to Lagoon before. She picked Sadie, her soccer buddy, to go with her. Sadie loves big rides just as much as Hallie does, so it was perfect! Since Russ gets less "sick" then I do, I sent him to take them. They had the best time and stayed there until the park closed down!! Russ was "sick" by midday and just watched them ride the rides the rest of the time. Hallie had an absolute blast with Sadie. She loves her first time to Lagoon!
