Ah man I love my kids. While I am sad they are getting bigger and I won't ever have another baby to take care of, it is also fun to watch them grow and develop. This month I took the kids to the Saratoga Springs Temple open house. Taco wouldn't let me put him down the entire tour. My arm was about to fall off and I was sweating to death by the end of it but it was nice to be able to take the kids to it.

Stockton
Nothing is ever cut and dry with Taco. He does things on his own terms and always has. It seems like it is always one thing after another with him. Along with his black eye, he fell off of the back of a chair and hit his mouth on the window seal. I took him to the dentist the next day to make sure his mouth and teeth were okay. He had a good cut inside his gums but his teeth were just fine. His speech does seem to be making big strides since starting private therapy. It definitely doesn't come easy to him but he seems to connect well with his therapist and likes it. He loves playing with cars and loves to line them up in a line. He entertains himself so well and goes back and forth between wanting Dad or wanting Mom. He loves playing with his siblings and wants to do whatever they are doing. He is clever and stubborn and has the best smile in the world. He has a temper when he doesn't get what he wants and bites or squeezes you (usually his siblings) when he is upset with you. We sure love our Taco baby!

Lava Hot Springs
We went camping at Lava Hot Springs with some neighbors. I was a little nervous about this camping trip, as we were camping with several families we didn't even know and all of them were not families we would particularly choose to hang out with but, much to my surprise, the company was great! There was only one family that I'd rather not camp with again but all the other ones were great.
The campground was really nice with a park for the kids to play at, flushable toilets, showers and clean water. The only downside of this trip was that we couldn't bring Rosie along with us. But, it was a fun and different camping trip then our usual. It was a trip full of water activities. We floated the river the first day, which was a blast. The boys did not love it though and cried every time we went down the river. The next day, we swam at the local swimming pool, which was huge and super crowded but really fun. That night Brooks and I went to the hot springs. It wasn't what I expected. I think I was expecting more natural springs in the middle of the earth but they were really just big hot tubs. But boy were they hot. I swan in the one that was 114 degrees. We also did a little walk/hike every day as a family. It was a great trip and one I hope to we do again!
