Kids

Golly I love my kids so much! They are the light of my life and the joy in my life. My heart grows bigger everyday for them! I am so lucky they are mine and that I get to stay home and raise them with their amazing daddy.

Russ is obsessed with Amazon vine! He particularly loves getting massage guns. They are free to us and we seriously have like 8 of them at our house right now. Who needs EIGHT massage guns?!? He has given some of them away but we still have tons just sitting at our house. He took advantage of the kids each wanting to have a massage gun to themselves and have them massage his back. Very smart, Daddy!

Home Church

Hallie loves to plan lessons for home church or family home evening. Her "lessons" always consist of her writing "church words" on sticky notes and placing them around the house for us to go and find. And that's the lesson. She is so cute!

Home church has been going really well for us. It is very quick, consists of a hymn, prayer, sacrament and a little lesson. It is perfect for our family with little kids that have almost no attention span. I am so grateful to Russ that we have the priesthood in our home to do the sacrament as a family

Hallie

Phone photo download of Hallie... She is such a great big sister and such a great example to her friends and brother. Sure love this little cutie pie of mine!

A selfie she took

First time out and about wearing a mask. Russ and I have been really good with keeping our kids in and away due to Coronavirus. But, she had a dentist appointment today and so we masked up to go!

Practicing wearing masks for when kindergarten starts up in the fall, if it actually does start up. Coronavirus isn't going away anytime soon, the country is still on "lockdown" and schools are still unsure if they are going to open back in the Fall.

Brooks

Man this Brooksie boy of mine is the cutest! He is so easy going and just a happy kid! I love listening to his sweet voice say some words. His language is finally coming along and I just love watching him learn and grow! He naps for a good two hours in the afternoon, which is SO nice!

Playing with cousin Mia
This kiddo could play cars all day long, and he loves to line up his cars!
He has the cutest smile in this world! He basically melts me.

I love that Brooks loves to snuggle! Whenever he is sad, a good snuggle will make him feel better in no time!

He loves going on walks and could walk for a long time without getting tired or bored! He also always wants a Popsicle when we go outside. Like Father, like son! Haha!
I can't even handle his toes. Cutest toes in this world!

Slip-n-Slide

I sure love my little family and love making memories with them! Today seemed like a great day to bust out our slip-n-slide and enjoy some family time. Hallie and Russ had a great time with it! Brooks didn't want a thing to do with it and only wanted to gently splash in the water that pooled near the end of the slide.

Russ throwing Hallie down the slide to make her go faster!

I was just there to keep Brooks warm at times and make him feel safe from the other two! He was constantly afraid they were going to splash him. Haha!

New Faucet

We got a new faucet! Ever since we changed our hardware to black I have wanted to switch out my chrome faucet to match. I also want to get a new sink, a white sink, but Russ said that will be too difficult to install. We got this faucet off of Amazon Vine and I LOVE it! It works better then my previous one and, most of all, it looks better too!

Russ has become quite the handyman over the years. Although he did not like installing this faucet. He said it was a pain and was pretty grumpy at me for making him do it. After all is said and done, he likes the way the new one looks too!

Car Parade

Bluffdale Days have been much different this year. Due to Covid, there were no actual parades, rodeos, or carnivals. But, they did do a car parade where a bunch of cool old cars drove by a road close to ours and we watched and waved as they did so. Apparently both of my kids don't like loud noises. Haha!

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to my favorite Father!! Russ is the dad I want my kids to have. He shows emotion, is kind, patient and loving. He teaches by example and by word. He is our everything as a family and I hope he had the best day today.

Father's Day was spent at home with bacon for breakfast, presents, church, and a yummy smoked Salmon dinner (made by Russ) with the Bre and Just Smith invited over to share with us.

Annual personalized tie!
