Scipio Zoo

On the way home from St. George, we made a stop at The Scipio Zoo! The kids loved it, especially Brooks! He is absolutely obsessed with animals!! It is so fun to watch him get so excited when he sees an animal. His favorite part was petting the goats and he did not want to leave when it was time to go. Hallie's favorite part was petting the bunnies and seeing the big turtles. This was a great stop to stretch our legs and get out of the car for a bit. I'm sure we will stop at this zoo again sometime in the future.

Hallie

May photos of Hallie! She absolutely adores her dad. I think she wants to be just like him when she grows up. She is his little shadow from the second he gets home. She follows him around all weekend and wants to be doing whatever he is doing.

 Hallie chooses to go with Russ to the store anytime she can. I don't blame her though; he buys her a treat every time they go! 

 Hallie has been getting a hold of my phone lately and taking some selfies. Ha!

 Still so obsessed with her hedgehog. I check on her every night before I go to bed and I just love watching her perfect face sleep!

St. George

We went to St. George with our best friends, James and Jamie Rust, and their kiddos! We had an absolute blast!! We stayed at an amazing house with a sweet water park available to only the neighborhood residents! It was like cowabunga bay but better because there were no crowds! The kids were in heaven!!! We swam and ate and played and then repeated that for 3 straight days. We vacation so well with the Rust's. They parent very similar to us and we all just merge together very nicely. It was a fabulous trip with some of my very favorite people! I'm not sure that we will ever want to stay anywhere else in St. George now that we know of this place!

 This was the first time Brooks had been swimming. It took him a little getting used to. He loved floating the lazy river the most, as did Hallie!

 There were 2 sets of triple bunk beds that all the older kids slept in. Hallie absolutely loved it!

 Brooks snuggling up to mama while he slept. He slept pretty good, as long as one of us was laying down by his pack-n-play so he could see us. Little stinker!

 Hallie loved playing with Kenzie all week! It is so fun to have kids the same age as ours!

Brooks- 16 months

I couldn't love this kid anymore! He is the busiest and messiest kid! He loves to wander free without any restrictions. He loves milk, his binky and burp cloth (particularly the tag on the burp cloth), eating, balls, snuggles and animals. He doesn't sleep great through the night. He wakes up at least once or a few times a night. I don't know if this is because of all of the ear infections he has had (or has. His ears aren't great pretty much any time the doctor looks into them) or if he is teething or what. He goes back to sleep really easily as long as you lay on the floor by his crib. Half the night one of us spends on the floor in his room. But, he still melts my heart into a million pieces every single day! So grateful to be his mama!

 Not sure why but he loves wearing Hallie's bike helmet. Haha!

 He snuggles me so much and yet I don't think I will ever receive enough of his snuggles.

 We've been going on wagon rides as of late. He sits in the wagon for about 3 minutes and then he wants to get out and push the wagon himself and then we repeat that over and over as we walk around the neighborhood.

 Love how he lays down when he drinks his milk. He either wants to snuggle while he drinks or just lay on his own.

 He's getting super into books and LOVES books with animals in it.

 He couldn't be any sweeter if he tried! Everyone comments on his freakishly long eyelashes! I only wish my eyelashes were that long.
