Life has been SO insane this Spring. Each kid is involved in multiple sports and every night is filled with multiple things to get to. Russ and I divide and conquer every night. Although this is exactly how Russ and I imagined our life to be. We are living our best life driving our kids to and from sporting activities that they love to do. We are so lucky to have happy and healthy kids and money to afford for them to do all the things they want. I took a picture of one of our nights schedules.

Percussion Performance
Brooks had his percussion performance tonight! He did great! He sat front and center. They basically did a compilation of several songs totaling about 30 mins worth of music. They did the whole thing without any pauses and I was impressed how much Brooks had to memorize to do the entire performance. We celebrated with ice cream at Snelgrove afterwards
Hallie
Cute Hallie! This month she had a lot of soccer, started training with a new trainer that focuses on the mental side of the game, went to a birthday party where she was supposed to dress up as a detective but refused to, went to the temple with her cousin Ella and Grandma Becky, played some softball with another girl who's mom used to be my volleyball coach in high school, had a video of her technical skills posted to instagram by her trainer and got lots of comments on that, made the cutest "spiritual," "social," "physical," and "intellectual" goals I have ever seen, picked the nickname "Halburger" to go on the back of her softball jersey/sweatshirt, helped tend baby Miles with me, went to Biztown for school and was over the UVU student affairs, played her good friend, Navy, in a soccer game and beat her team, played amazing at State Cup and was voted MVP twice during that tournament, gave a talk during sacrament meeting and went to a Utah Starzz basketball game. She had a busy month with school and all her extracurricular activities. I am so proud of the wonderful, well-rounded person she is becoming!

Brooks
Oh I love my cute Brooksie! I see a lot of myself in him. He gets nervous doing things for the first time but chooses to be brave and does it anyways. I can tell when he gets nervous because he rubs his fingers together. He loves a good hotdog from the baseball field or from Maverick. He continues to measure tall and he hopes to be well over 6 feet when he grows up. He continues to love basketball but we are so proud of the progress he made with baseball this year. He pitched to batters for the first time and played a lot of first base. He is naturally talented at both sports and if he practices he could be really good at either one. I love how he likes to sleep with his ear covered and the blanket over the side of his head, always falling asleep on his left side. During the night, he sleeps like a crazy person and often falls of his bed or is found nowhere near his pillow. He often finds his way into our room to sleep for the rest of the night as well. He loves his mullet so much, as does his Dad, and told me he is never going to cut his hair. He loves reading with his tutor, Miss Donna, and never wants to stop doing tutoring with her. I love seeing his dimple become more pronounced as he starts to age more and lose more of his baby fat. He holds such a special place in my heart and I love his want/need to snuggle.

Cute Text
Russ sent me this sweet text while he was out coaching Brooks' baseball game and I was on the bleachers watching. It gave me butterflies.

Family Pictures
For Christmas, we gave my mom/dad "family pictures." Today was the day to take them. We haven't had professional family pictures in years and it was so nice to have them taken with my family as well. Stockton was not about taking family pictures. We struggled to get him to get in the picture and even just stand there. He can be so difficult when he wants to be. It's like if he has made up his mind about something, there is no way anyone is going to change his mind. Breanne tried to bribe him with snacks and treats and he took a lot of them. Haha!
