Hallie

Hallie is one of a kind and I am just so in love with her! She is sweet and just authentically good. She wants to make good choices and is already an example to her friends and peers. Her teachers have often told me how "sweet" she is and that she is so well-behaved. She really is a great listener (unless she is tired, then the waterworks and sassiness comes out!) Her mind amazes me. She is incredibly smart and catches on to things so quickly. She loves to play pretend and has an imagination like none other. She's the perfect daughter to have as the oldest in the family!

Not sure why we captured this photo. I was at work and Hallie decided to pee on the garage floor. Russ was so mad and sent me this pic. Haha!

 She started Upstart! It is free school program offered in Utah that helps prepare kids for kindergarten. To be in the program, she has to do there school work everyday (M-F) for 15 minutes. Luckily, she loves it! I often have to force her to stop everyday. I think she would do it for hours if I let her! I'm excited to watch her learn and grow.

 Hallie and Jack. Jack is a neighbor kid and they love to play with each other. I'm not really sure why, as Jack is kinda a mean and aggressive kid, but Hallie often begs to play with him!

I am absolutely, totally, and completely obsessed with my kids!! I thank my Heavenly Father everyday that I am lucky enough to be their mom. I love them to death and I love being their mom!!

Sometimes these two like to eat their lunch under the table. The food always starts on top of the table, never with the intention of them bringing the food below the table, but sometimes they decide they would like to eat elsewhere!

Zion

Alex and Katrina invited us to go to their family cabin this weekend again! We absolutely love it down there! The weather was perfect and the kids had an absolute blast! With it being Labor Day weekend, we decided not to go into the National Park and just play at the cabin. The kids were completely content just playing in the river all day long. It was such a nice and relaxing getaway!

 Xander and Hallie get a long so well. It is fun to watch them play with each other for hours!

 Brooks threw rocks in the river for hours! He didn't move around much, as he was a little timid of the water. He firmly planted his feet in the sand and picked up rocks from around him and threw them. He's so adorable!

 So funny that the big kids are in the stroller and the little kids are walking or being held!

 On the way home, we stopped at the Scipio Zoo again. The kids loved it, again, and it was a nice break from the car for a bit!

Kids at Shelli's

The kids have had a blast with Shelli this summer! They have gone swimming pretty much every Wednesday they've been with her. I love that she does fun things with them! Hallie is a little fishy and loves to swim! Brooks isn't the biggest fan of water but luckily he did take a few naps at the pool while they were there!

Perfect boy!

 While Russ and I went on a date for my birthday, Shelli and her family watched our kids. It just  so happened to be on a day when Ryan had his summer work party. Shelli took the kids and they had a blast. They had a petting zoo and Brooks loved petting the animals!

 They also had all sorts of games and blowup toys for the kids to play on. Hallie was in heaven!

 Shelli said Brooks had like 4 ice cream cones while they were there! Haha!
