Kids at Shelli's...

Here's a photo drop of pictures Shelli has taken of the kids over the past few months. Having Shelli watch our kids while I work has really worked out well. She is super reliable and my kids love being with her. Hallie gets to play with her cousin Brecken often because Amber and Shelli live right by each other and she also loves to play with Shelli's kids when they get home from school. Brooks is finally not crying when I initially leave him to go to work and I love that he now just walks right into Shelli's home asking for "cars." Haha!

Kids

I sure love these kiddos and the relationship they have with one another. Sure they equally pester each other but they also love each other so much! Brooks asks for Hallie ("Ah-Yeee!") when she is not with us and is her little shadow. He thinks he is a big kid and does whatever she does! Hallie loves playing with Brooks as well and they often play in the basement with just the two of them for quite sometime.

Coloring. This is an activity they do every single day!
 Yummy suckers!

Hallie

Hallie had a lot of sass about her this month! She sure can be the sweetest ever but man this month she was something else. Luckily, she is always, always good for her teachers and everyone else. Russ and I just have to have a lot of patience at times. She has been waking up early and going downstairs and watching TV when everyone is still asleep. I had no idea this was happening for quite sometime but when I figured it out I took away the TV remote so she could no longer do it. I think that is why she has been so sassy, she is tired! She is so, so smart though and I love that I never have to worry about her behavior when she is out of my presence.

She has a tooth that is so loose! And we noticed the other day that her "grown up tooth" is growing right behind it. Once this baby one falls out the other one will take its place in no time!
Found this selfie she took on my phone. Showing off her loose tooth!

Going out for Mcdonalds with Daddy after gymnastics. Lucky girl!
We have been doing puzzles together as a family this month and we are loving it! I want, during the month of December, that we can always be working on a puzzle together. I think it would be a new fun tradition!

 Sad, tired Hallie
We switched Hallie to a new gymnastics company this month. Her other gymnastic teacher had a baby and is taking maternity leave for several months. We feel like Hallie is a natural gymnast and we didn't want her to lose her skills she has. So, we enrolled her at Bailie's gymnastics for the time being. It is a place that does all 4 events of gymnastics and I'm really excited for her to grow.

One day, I noticed this white book under the Christmas tree. I asked Hallie what it was and she said she got a present for Brooks. Haha!
I didn't mind that she wrote Brooks' name in permanent marker on it. I thought it was a cute gesture.

Hallie went to her cousin, Xander's, birthday party. She was the only girl invited. I asked her if she still wanted to go, knowing that she was the only girl invited, and she said "Yep!"

She made her very own ornament to put on the Christmas tree at preschool. It was so cute!
Sleeping with her hedgehog under her neck. Seems to be her favorite place for him while she sleeps!

Playing with Jack. He is one of her favorites to play with! I'm not sure why, he's not the nicest kid on the block, but she really likes to play with him. When they play, it requires a lot of supervision because he can get rough fast!
