Happy Easter! Golly I sure love my kids. Their Easter baskets were full of new swimsuits, sandals, coloring/art supplies and candy. I love watching their thrill when they discovered what was in their baskets.
Hallie (and Russ) and the rest of her soccer team went to an RSL game tonight. Her team was recognized during halftime for winning the championship in their tournament in February. They froze their tooshy's off and right when they left the game it rained cats and dogs outside!
Hallie is just one-of-a-kind and I am so proud she is my daughter. She is talented in so many ways. This month she was asked to participate in a podcast about the Percussion Club she is apart of at school. She was only 1 of 3 students invited to do that. She also participated in a 4v4 soccer tournament with her team. She loves the girls on her team and I love how much she loves them. We got rid of her pj mask couch finally!! It is old and disgusting but she loves it. Oddly enough she wet the bed one night this month (which she never ever does) and so I have the perfect excuse to finally throw it away. So, she wrote Russ and I a note and left it outside her door saying she wants a new one. Haha!
My kids hold the keys to my heart and I just love them more then I even knew could be possible. They are the hardest and best parts of my life. They fight like siblings most days but when they all get along my heart could just burst.
Oh Taco baby! You are so sweet while also being so spicy! He does not like demands being placed on him and if it isn't his idea then you can pretty much guarantee it's not going to happen. He is feisty with his siblings and likes to wrestle with them without any reservation. He loves making messes that he will never clean up. He loves his monster trucks and seems to be very coordinated and athletic like his siblings. Russ is his favorite and will only let him put him to bed at night. I'm so grateful that Russ is able to be home at night to be so involved in their bedtime routines. Stockton often refuses to take his naps but then greatly needs one around dinnertime. His speech has progressed so much and he has been mainly compliant during his therapy sessions as well. He completes our family and I just love him to pieces!
