Backsplash

Ever since we moved into our house we knew we wanted to add a backsplash to our kitchen. I never really knew what kind of tile I wanted to do, however. When our cabinets were painted white last year I got a suggestion from my neighbor, who is a interior designer, to do this particular tile as our backsplash. After a little bit of research and seeing this tile on other peoples backsplashes, I knew that this was the one I wanted. I absolutely love the way it turned out! My dad added some under cabinet lighting and with this backspash, it completes our kitchen redo!

My sweet kiddies

I couldn't love my kiddies anymore! They are starting to become such good friends and playmates!

Got the kids some masks to wear, mainly for Hallie to wear to school next month, but also for both of them in case we have to go anywhere!

Reading a book with daddy!

Brooks

Sadly I am so far behind in my blogging (here it is December and I'm blogging about July) that I can't really remember the details of things! But, I do remember that Brooksie is the cutest kid around and is so much fun to be around! He is almost always happy and smiling. He is so chill and I love listening to his language grow!

This kid LOVES wearing his hat lately! He wants to be just like his daddy and will face his hat (either frontwards or backwards) based on how Russ is wearing it. And he looks like a stud in his hat too!
Liking the whipped cream off the whisk!
He's my favorite snuggle buddy! And I am majorly jealous of his long eyelashes!

Pregnancy has hit me hard lately and I am like this pretty much all day long. I'll never deny a snuggle from my baby though!

Hallie

Hallie is such a fun little girl! She could play all day long but needs a buddy to play with, of course! She is also naturally good at pretty much everything she does. She doesn't take coaching very well but when she sets her mind on being good at something then she always excels!

Hallie is Russ' little sidekick. She wants to go anywhere and everywhere with him. On Saturday, she basically never leaves his side. Her she is helping daddy load some pavers in his truck from Home Depot.

Blankets are definitely this girls jam! Like Mother like daughter.
Katrina has been SO great to me while I'm in the early stages of my pregnancy! She takes                    Hallie almost everyday and has saved me! I'm glad Hallie is having fun with her cousin Xander                                                                   while I am out being sick.

She's a perfect little princess!
Playing softball with Aunt Breanne and cousin Pratt.

She was SO brave at the dentist this month! We got her 6 year old molars filled, recommended by the dentist for all 6 year olds, to try and help prevent future cavities. She didn't seem scared at all! She was awesome.

Hallie loses her 3rd tooth!

Just 2 days after the 24th of July, which seems to be her thing with losing teeth on or around holidays, Hallie lost her 3rd tooth! This time she just pulled it out and ran upstairs to show us!

Sadly the tooth fairy has been very sick lately! I forgot or could not print out a tooth fairy certificate for like a week! We just kept telling Hallie that the tooth fairy was really busy with picking up teeth as of late. Hallie was super patient about it all! I feel like a failure as a mom. I'm pretty much failing in all aspects of life right now because I'm so sick with this pregnancy. I can barely function!

Uinta Mtn Camping

I love the tradition we have made to go up to the Uinta mountains with Bryan and Amber and camp! It is beautiful up there and just so much fun! Sadly, being so sick with this pregnancy, I debated whether I was going to come or not. But, in the end, I figured I'd be sick whatever I do and so I might as well be with my family. The drive up and down the mountain were rough. I already get carsick on this drive with the windy switchbacks up the mountain but add pregnancy onto that and it was terrible. I only threw up once in the car on the way up the mountain and almost threw up on our way home but didn't. I spent the majority of the time in the trailer being sick but sweet Russ probably told me 10 times that he was "so glad I came!" It was sweet.

Russ cut down his first tree with an axe and the kids had a blast being in nature and eating a bunch of junk!
