Halloween

I initially was scheduled to work tonight (11-11pm). How unlucky to work like the worst shift ever! I have been sad about working Halloween ever since I found out. But, because I am new I didn't want to cause a fuss and ask for it off. However, the nurses I was training with the week before gave me the courage to ask for our scheduler to switch my days working since I am orienting anyways and don't really "matter" as far as staffing goes. So I did. And they were totally cool with me switching my days working for next week.

I'm so glad I was able to spend Halloween with my cute kiddos! I love the tradition of going trick-or-treating with our neighbors and their kids. It was a beautiful night and I loved watching my kids be happy!

Halloween Parade

They did a virtual school Halloween parade this year. I liked that idea because last year they did it outside and it was freezing. And besides, I only care about seeing my kids dressed up and having them see me being there to support them. I liked the idea of a virtual parade but some parents were very upset about it. Haha! These were the best pictures I could get on the zoom call. They literally walked past the camera and in 2 seconds they were gone. Haha!

Kids

I am so blessed to be the mom of these 3 kids! They are all so unique and I love watching them grow and discover this life. This month they watched a movie with our projector, hung out with Grandma Becky and Grandpa Joe, took several trips to Home Depot and enjoyed Dad snuggles during Hallie's soccer games. I sure love these munchkins!
