For our one and only camping trip this year (every weekend is sooo busy), we went to our favorite camping spot! Heber Valley. We camped with Amber and Bryan and Amber's parents. The kids loved exploring, bike riding, sleeping in the hammocks (Hallie did one night, Brooks attempted to one night), building a wood log cabin, having our own 4th of July parade, eating s'mores and "steak on a stick," fishing, and playing with their cousins. Rosie enjoyed rolling around at the lake shoreline and getting absolutely filthy. It is such a beautiful place to camp.
We left late Saturday night to go home. The only way we could convince the kids to pack up and go home was to promise they could fall asleep in our room watching a movie. So, that is what they did!
Fireworks were banned in Utah because of the super dry winter we had. We didn't end up missing many parties or get togethers.
