Our sweet Brooks. He has loved playing basketball for Invictus this year. He loves his coach (Coach Dace), and so do we, and he has made some fun friends on his team. It has been amazing to carpool with Griffey every week as it can be difficult to get all 3 kids to all the things they need to from the hours of 4-9 pm. They won their last tournament this year and he'll have tryouts later on this month. I think he will make the same team. He is the tallest on the team and really has some natural talent at this sport.

Back-to-school shopping
While Taco was out shopping with Grandma Becky, I took the two olders back-to-school shopping as well. Hallie didn't find much at the stores we went to so we will have to go back out another day.
Taco & Kindergarten Shopping
Taco is such a character. I love his confidence and he for sure knows what he wants and how to get it. He is a smart cookie. He went kindergarten shopping with Grandma Becky this month. We all agreed that we didn't think he would have the patience to go shopping and pick out clothes and probably would end up mad that he is picking out clothes and not getting monster trucks. So, to avoid a breakdown in the store, he went shoe shopping only and Grandma just had the clothes delivered to her house for a fashion show in the home. He found the shoes he wanted quite quickly and had to test their speed in the store to make sure they were the right choice. Haha. After shoe shopping, they went to Costa Vida and back at Grandma's house to watch some monster trucks on YouTube. He had a great few hours with his Grandma.

BYU Soccer Camp
Along with 5 of her teammates (Madison, Ady, Kam, Sadie and Liyah) Hallie went to the BYU women's soccer camp this week. It was 4 straight days from 9-5 pm. They had a fantastic balance of fun and soccer. Hallie loved eating at their school's cafeteria every day. Her favorite was the fettuccine noodles with alfredo and dole whip. She loved spending time with all her favorite friends from soccer, especially Sadie. In addition to soccer, they watched the USA world cup soccer game together and went to Summit Peaks waterpark. Next year, the girls are old enough to stay in a dorm together if they want. I can't believe my baby is old enough to do that. I felt like her being gone so much this week was too much and I missed her. Haha. But, it is a year away, so I'll try not to stress about it. Her only complaint about the camp is that she was grouped with a "terrible" group as she puts it and they lost most of their games during the camp.
